This policy explains which cookies and similar browser storage Esthetic Insights Pvt Ltd uses on this website and the client portal. It sits beside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data. Questions go to info@estheticinsights.com.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small piece of text a website asks your browser to keep. Browsers also offer other storage, such as local storage, that works in a similar way. We say below which of each we use.

What we set

We set one cookie of our own, ei_client_session. It keeps you signed in to the client portal. It is set only when you sign in, it cannot be read by scripts on the page, and the portal cannot work without it, so it is not optional and you are not asked about it. If you only browse the public pages, we set no cookie.

If you answer the question about analytics, we keep your answer in this browser's local storage, under the name ei_cookie_consent, so that we do not ask you again on every visit. It holds your choice and the time you made it. Our fonts and images are served from our own site.

Some pages also keep short-lived answers in this tab's session storage, such as the intro animation having played, your shortlist of existing developments, and what you have typed into a new-development request. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab and is never sent to us.

Analytics, only if you agree

We can use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages help. It is off unless this site has been set up with an analytics measurement ID, and when it is on, nothing from Google Analytics loads until you choose Accept analytics. Choosing Reject analytics, or not answering, means it never loads. It receives the address of each page you view, without anything after the "?", and never your name, email or anything you type.

Your choice

Where we ask, Accept analytics and Reject analytics are given equal weight, and the page stays usable while the question is open. You can change your answer at any time. You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser's settings; if you delete the sign-in cookie you will be signed out.

Third parties

If you use "Sign in with Google", Google's sign-in script runs on the sign-in page, under Google's privacy policy. We do not run advertising or social-media tracking on this site.
