Accessibility

Our aim

We build with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as our reference. This statement describes what is in the site today. It is not a claim that the site meets any particular level of the guidelines.

What we have built in

• A "Skip to main content" link is the first thing a keyboard user reaches on every page.
• The page language is set to English, so screen readers pronounce it correctly.
• Links, buttons and form fields show a visible focus outline when you move through them with the keyboard.
• The policy pages have a contents list you can use from the keyboard. Choosing an entry moves focus to that section's heading.
• If your device is set to reduce motion, the site's animation and smooth scrolling are reduced or switched off. The one exception is the brand strip on the home page, which keeps moving at half speed and has no pause button.
• Each page has one main heading, with section headings beneath it in order.

What we have not verified

We have not yet had the site tested by an independent accessibility auditor, and we have not tested every screen with every assistive technology. Some parts, such as product images and documents uploaded by clients, may not have complete text alternatives. We will improve these as we find them.
